Freedom House on May 29 received a $50,000 donation from the Jyllands-Posten Fond to renew its support for Freedom of the Press, Freedom House’s annual survey of media independence. The survey assesses the degree of media freedom in 197 countries and territories each year. This will be the third consecutive year of support for Freedom of the Press by Jyllands Posten.
