Countries:

Combating corruption is a particularly vital undertaking in Namibia, a country listed on the cusp of the ‘most’ corrupt countries in the world. In September 2010, Freedom House launched an initiative aimed at enhancing the ability of Namibian civil society to function as effective advocates for, and monitors of, good governance. The project fosters collaborative action between the government and civil society to undertake public outreach and anti-corruption advocacy campaigns. To achieve these key objectives, Freedom House has partnered with two highly respected local organizations: the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) and the Namibian Institute for Democracy (NID).
