A $1,000 donation provides emergency support for family members of a human rights defender who has been detained in our Embattled NGO Assistance Fund program.
A $500 donation purchases handouts and materials for our Prevention and Accountability to Reduce Torture training sessions for human rights activists working in Kyrgyzstan.
Just $1 a day provides emergency assistance to our Religious Freedom defenders and victims who are threatened, detained, persecuted, or otherwise at risk due to repression from their government leaders.
A $300 donation helps support the work of human rights defenders and watchdog groups in Latin America working to promote freedom of the press.
A $200 donation supports training for an election polling officer in Egypt for one month giving citizens a chance for fair and democratic elections.
A $150 donation helps support a Freedom House office where activists are currently working towards the promotion of women’s rights in the Middle East through public awareness initiatives throughout the region.
A $100 donation provides in-country activists with a Human Rights Documentation Training course to help provide expert analysis of security, stability and the human rights situation in The American Committee for Peace in the Caucasus program.
In honor of Freedom House’s 70th Anniversary, a $70 donation provides materials for one training session to better equip Central African human rights defenders with the skills to effectively monitor, investigate, and document cases of torture in order to successfully prosecute perpetrators in criminal courts.
