Sarah Trister is manager of congressional affairs at Freedom House.
She is responsible for promoting Freedom House priorities and projects on Capitol Hill. She previously worked for three years for Congressman John W. Olver from Massachusetts, where she was responsible for Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Energy issues. She brings to Freedom House the experience of working on a wide-range of issues with a variety of bipartisan Members of Congress and their staffs. Sarah holds a Master’s Degree in American Government and International Relations from Georgetown University and a B.A. from the University of Miami.
