Josh Muravchik is a Foreign Policy Institute Fellow at Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies. Prior to joining SAIS, he was a resident scholar at American Enterprise Institute and previously serviced on the State Department’s Advisory Committee on Democracy Promotion. He has written extensively about democracy, human rights, and America’s role in the post–Cold War world.
