James Carter is a partner in the New York office of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP where he co-chairs the International Arbitration and Cross-Border Dispute Resolution Group. Mr. Carter is a former Chairman of the Board of the American Arbitration Association, has chaired the American Bar Association's Section of International Law, served as the ABA's Representative to the United Nations, and is the former President of the American Society of International Law.
