Toni Cortese is the Secretary-Treasurer of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). She has served as AFT’s Executive Vice President from 2004-2008 and an officer of the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT). She previously served as vice president of the New York State AFL-CIO.
